In 1969 it's installed a new BPM engine, specially developed in 1968 by B.P.M. for the team Agusta - 6964 cc., 8-cylinder V-8 twin-choke carburetors, twin spark, double overhead camshaft, 520 HP. This special designed engine has been produced in 4 exemplars (two for Marchisio Ermanno, one for Lupi Gino and one for Battaglini Agostino)
